Speranza Tattoo, Buenos Aires
This was my first tattoo and was done by David Hale from Love Hawk Tattoo out of Athens, Ga. The design for the tattoo was inspired by the art of Hamilton Yakota (aka TitiFreak), and was brought to life by my tattoo artist.
Ever since I can remember, I have been intrigued by tattoos. I always wanted to experience actually being tattooed, and told myself I would only do so when I found art worth adding to my skin forever. 18 months passed between when I found the artwork and when I was tattooed, and the wait was absolutely worth it.
Here’s my owl perched on a mehndi branch.
It’s a reminder that regardless or the good, bad, and the ugly there can be wisdom found at even the end of the shittiest things.
